It was 15 years
ago when the inventor of the Red's Beds pickup cover had all of
his tools stolen from his truck while he ate at a restaurant. He
considered buying a truck bed cover, but could not find the perfect
one to fit his needs. A few years later, he had his prized fishing
pole and tackle box, loaded with hand-tied flies passed down from
his father, stolen from his truck while inside a bait shop. That's
when he drew a line in the sand: you may take a man's tools, but
stealing his fishing gear is going too far.
That's when
he went to work in earnest designing a pickup cover that would look
great, last long, and keep thieves out. It took awhile to perfect
the idea, but drawing on his 21 years of Navy-made aeronautical
engineering experience, and four patents later, the pickup cover
to fit all of his and your needs was born.
Today, just
a few years after the first prototype cover, Red's Beds is growing
and going b. All of Red's Beds' Tonneau Covers are manufactured
at their Duncan, Oklahoma facility. Only all-American parts and
components are used to make a Red's Beds Cover, and that's the only
way this family business would have it.
